The situation is much worse since many people who are practicing the vice are finding various ways of perfecting it in order to avoid suspicion by their partners. Clearly, this has become a societal issue that ought to be curbed before it consumes the values that guide stable relationships.

Lying has evolved to be a common practice in today’s social life. A broader explanation of the term lying might even put into consideration having facial surgeries as part of lying. Reasons as to why one engages in lying are unknown but the outcomes that tag along with the practice are evident. The main aim of this paper is to look at the reasons, detection ways and the consequence of lying in romantic relationships.

Reasons for lying in a romantic relationship

When in the process of lying, many people in relationships will do anything to ensure the truth does not see the light. This whole process of concealing the truth makes detection of lies more difficult. Methods to which lying can be detected have been outline as to be on hoe the cues are more associated with lying, differentiating beliefs in people about lying. Most essential when it comes to lying is careful analysing of the body movement, vocal tones and pith variations which are termed as not easily controllable. Persons who are that lying is a necessity in their lives is more experience liars than the ones who think lying should not be tolerated.

Dishonesty in romantic relationships has spearheaded the termination of many stable relationships. Dishonest practices vary from relationship to relationship and this directly affects the mode of discovery and the consequences. There is no simple concept for dishonesty in close relationships since every case is different and the outcome cannot be precisely predicted.
